The Moomba

The bar next to the Mac’s where we got our free ice cream during the “Homage To Newton” tour. Was on some photo taking adventure to take pictures of big blank walls during the beginning of the june holidays. The colour scheme and design suits “The Moomba” name and the wall and the palm trees…

This piece depicts on of the most memorable lines that I have from Eminem. From the great song “I’m Back”:

I take each individual degenerate's head and reach into it
just to see if he's influenced by me if he listens to music
And if he feeds into this sh*t he's an innocent victim
and becomes a puppet on the string of my tennis shoe  

I spent a lot of time thinking about the Slim Shady character design. He described himself as some insane skinny mummy but I decided to do a grim reaper like thing because the darkness would reflect the beats in the song. The two characters (stringed up hamster (making another appearance) and Slim) are on the brain of the skull hamster because it’s the mind of the listener that makes something of the songs, so yeah.
